Your account

An account holds a username, an email address and a password that is stored only as a hash. The email address is used to confirm the account and to send notices about the course. It is not sold, shared or used for anything else.

Your prompts and your runs

The course keeps every prompt version you save, every answer produced from it, and every score. That log is the point of the course: it is how you and the course both find out whether the teaching worked. It is visible to you and to the person running the site, and to nobody else.

Sending your prompt to a model

Running an exercise sends your prompt and the supplied case to Anthropic’s API so an answer can be produced and marked. Do not put anything confidential into an exercise. The supplied jobs use invented businesses for exactly this reason, and the capstone is yours to keep local if you would rather.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. There is no advertising, no analytics profile and no third-party tracking on this site.

Asking for your data, or its removal

Use the form below. You can ask for a copy of everything held about you, ask for something to be corrected, or ask for the account and its whole run log to be deleted. You will get an answer within thirty days, and usually a great deal sooner than that.

This page will be reviewed before the course opens to anyone outside the private beta.
